All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers is held annually by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to create conditions for the development of intellectual potential of talented youth, support scientific and creative work of students, stimulate their interest in research, mastering innovative technologies.
According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №1179 from 05.11.2021 “On holding the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the fields of knowledge and specialties in 2021/2022 academic year and amending the appendix to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from 24.11. 2020 № 1457” Odesa National University of Technology as a basic institution of higher education is responsible for holding the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty “Hotel and restaurant business”.
All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty “Hotel and restaurant business” is held on the following topics:
Section 1 – “Application of various types of innovations in hotels and restaurants”
Section 2 – “Technologies for improving the quality of service in hotels and restaurants”
Section 3 – “Use of ecological and energy-saving technologies in hotel and restaurant business”
Section 4 – “Modern methods of promoting the services of state-owned restaurants and accommodation establishments”
Section 5 – “Application of modern information technologies in hotel and restaurant business”

- Krasna NI with the theme “Coworking Center” (head Titomir LA) took first place in 2021
- Mants MV, Pozekun V. with the theme “Mini-bakery with yeast-free bread” took part in 2021.
- Єйрушевич А.О. with the theme “Ecological mini-hotel” (head Novichkova TP) took first place in 2020
- Medvedyuk AV, Filipenko YV with the theme “Eco-camping” (head Kovalenko NO) took third place in 2020
- Khimchenko LO, Chalak OV with the theme “Eco-restaurant” (headed by AK Dyakonova) took third place in 2020.
- Krasna NI with the topic “Study of the demand for eco-hotel services built of environmentally friendly materials by 3d printing” (head Kovalenko NO) took first place in 2019.
- Zhovtyak KO, Semenchenko VV with the theme “The impact of modern entertainment services on the image of the hotel” (head Titomir LA) took third place in 2019.
- Borodina VS, Vlasyuk KV with the theme “Gastronomic Festivals” took first place in 2018.
